A Day in the Life: The Field Museum | fleur-viola

Field Museum: Saturday, February 7, 2015

The Field Museum is free admission this month for all Illinois Residents, so we took advantage. The day started at 8 AM. I haven’t been to the Field Museum in ages, so returning was very nostalgic. It reminded me of my elementary days, and how we would always take field trips there. We saw very cool exhibits, and explored the day away. Here are some of the cool things that we saw . IMG_9342

This lady was actually painting the scenery! Her work was amazing. There were many artists around the museum.

After spending about 5 hours in the museum, we decided to have lunch at Shake Shack Chicago.

It was crazy packed, and there were no seats by the time we finished ordering at the counter. But, the food is worth the wait. I wish I had this in front of me again. Very simplistic, but it’s a great place to go for a delicious authentic burger.
